We specialize in working with youth, adults, and families. Therapeutic specialities include: 

  • Formal BTech (Linehan Institute) training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), CBT, Narrative, Trauma, and Reality therapies.
  • High Risk assessment and treatment - Suicide, self-harm, conduct disorder, anger management, eating disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Cluster B disorders. 
  • Gender and sexuality understanding and acceptance.
  • Addictions, ADHD, Conduct Disorder, anger management, emotional regulation, life transitions (University, grief, job loss, aimlessness). 
  • Athletes: Sports therapy for up-and-coming amateur and professional athletes, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISM), trauma, mindfulness, focus and concentration, and specialized individual counselling for Guides, Sponsored Athletes, and Olympians.
  • Mike has been qualified as an expert in Court and has over 15 years experience in mediating, negotiating, and conducting assessments for Family Court. He is a Parenting Coordinator, Reunification Therapist, provides litigation support, and conducts Practice Note 7 (PN7) assessments. Please see below for more information.
